Dear all,

As usual with these kinds of communities I'm overwhelmed by the offers 
of generosity (my last such experience was with the then-nascent beowulf 
community).

Let me put together a proper specification and list of available 
resources, as ye have suggested, and try and deserve your kindness. 
It'll take a few days.

Just so you know, if this gets to a workable state I want to share it 
with every politician in the country.
