> Due to a recent cancellation, one place (fully funded) has become available at the next Compound Semiconductor Device Fabrication course scheduled to take place next week (Mar 12 – 16) at the Tyndall national institute. The course is fully accredited by UCC ( w/ 5 ECTS) and is suitable for students on structured PhD training programmes. The course content includes inter alia;
> •	Processing techniques including photolithography, etching, ion implantation, metal deposition, thermal treatments measurement, etc 
> •	Devices & Circuits: Techniques for the fabrication of compound semiconductor devices such as solid state lasers and LEDs 
> •	Device testing and relationship between device characteristics and process parameters
>

> Funding is available to cover reasonable travel and accommodation costs incurred while attending the course and is strictly based on proof of receipts.
